:: Knottie Friday: Black, White & Yellow

Lately, I've been experimenting with various color schemes for a wedding idea board - a great start for the bride who is undecided about her wedding colors, and needs something visual to make her choice easier. There are so many fabulous color combinations and equally fabulous wedding decor ideas to create the desired look and wedding experience.

So starting today, Celebration Elements presents Knottie Friday, blog posts, celebrating decor and color ideas, meant especially for the discerning bride. This week, we get a taste of Black, White & Yellow.

Yellow and Black together is gorgeous but I think to have all three colors black white and yellow is too much. Wouldn't it be best to have two colors for a wedding and a few hinted colors for emphasis?

Hi Sheika! Thanks for your question. Whereas this is not your typical or traditional wedding color palette, black, white and yellow/butterscotch united quite a lot for weddings this summer. It is hip and contemporary and the combination is indeed gorgeous.

It all depends on personal taste, style and vision. And in some cases the time of year. I think these colors are perfect for spring and summer months.

Photographer, Drew B captured it beautifully for couple Tara and Tyrone, whose wedding was featured in Southern Weddings Magazine.
